Dermatologist for Your Acne?

Acne, can be painful and even extremely embarrassing and annoying problem, most often infects adolescence, and even almost 96 percent teenager suffers this terrible kind of skin disease. One of the main reasons why teenager is so susceptible to suffer acne is that their continuous of hormonal level change and production, and this cause enlarge glands around hair follicles. As a result, along with deadly skin cells, dust, grease and sebum could clog the pores, and attracts bacteria that normally reside in pores; bacteria could proliferate in here and cause inflammation around the area and contribute to acne.
Acne has different shapes and characteristics, and for different people they can behave differently, though they form the same way. For some people they could be severe, persistent and inflamed, and may leave scars, while some others only get mild forms of acne. You need to know several types of acne, and how to treat it.
- The most common type of acne is called acne vulgaris, also known as acne, the mildest acne blemishes. The first noticeable sign of this type is the appearance of blackhead or whitehead.
- More severe forms of acne is nodular acne and cystic acne, they are actually inter related, painful, pus filled, remain for weeks or even months and tend to leave scars.
- Rosacea is really different from acne vulgaris and often called adult acne. This type of acne is severe for men, but more common in women and usually affects people over 30. Main characteristics of this acne is redness, rash appears on the chin, nose, forehead and cheeks. This kind of acne could damage your confidence, since this could cause skin tissue growth and affect your nose appearance.
So if you have acne, regardless it is severe or mild, you still need to give special attention on it. There is a wide range of treatments available to clear your acne, from traditional and natural treatment to medical and over the counter treatments. If your acnes occasionally come and go away after a little while, probably you don’t need to see a dermatologist, unless they cause you pain. But if your acnes continue to breakout, cause scarring and pitting, and if yourself medication doesn’t work, the condition get worsen and could into severe acne, certainly you need to consult under professional dermatologist to get proper treatment.
