Acne, in general, is limited to the parts of the body such as chest, neck, face, upper arms or upper back which has the most and the largest abundant of sebaceous glands.
Common cause of acne vulgaris.
The increasing production of sebum in the pilosebaceous follicle. People with acne have higher rates of sebum production compared with unaffected individuals. Sebum has a central role in development of acne.
Foods.
Foods such as milk, fried foods, nuts, iodised salt have been as implicated as triggers of acne vulgaris. Foods that are highly acidic tend to create an imbalance in your body’s pH balance and as a results this condition could contribute to acne. You should avoid food that are high in acid that could create an imbalance in your body’s pH balance such as : Dairy products, nuts and butter, animal protein, fats and oil, coffee and soft drinks, drugs or chemicals.
Junk foods or fast food are not just harmful for our total health but they also can contribute to acne and give an unhealthy complexion, because they are really unhealthy foods. Processed foods or other junk foods contain a lot of additives and preservatives and may comprise toxins are pretty unsafe for our skin and can cause pimples. Artificial sweeteners or refined sugars are the most common ingredients of spicy foods that may aggravate your acne problem.
Genetics
A genetic background is another common cause of acne. Many researchers believe that if your parents have acne, and you have a tendency to develop acne, it can be inherited from parents. Many research has shown the direct correlation between their family history of the problem and school – age – adolescent acne problem.
Comedonal acne or non inflammatory acne, papules and pustules or inflammatory acne, nodular acne and inflammatory acne with hyperpigmentation are some types of acne vulgaris.
